Projet Cyrano

Olivier Behra began his career as a biologist for the Muséum National d’Histoire Naturelle in Paris conducting wildlife surveys in several Central African countries. He began working in Madagascar for the United Nations in the late 1980s before founding the NGO L’Homme et l’Environnement in 1993. Since then, the organisation’s aim has been to show that human development can be compatible with, and even support, biodiversity conservation. Olivier is behind the creation of 5 conservation areas in Madagascar and has supported numerous conservation projects in more than 20 countries around the world. To support the valorisation of natural resources he has become an expert in cosmetic actives and perfumery ingredients working for many brands such as Yves Rocher, Chanel, Dessange but also advising CEOs in their strategies in this field (Chanel, Maisons du Monde, Takasago, Pure Trade, etc.).
